COVID-19 Pandemic Update – April 5, 2020

Seascape Owners,

The message below was just sent out from the Galveston Park Board regarding the orders for Galveston. While we have been trying to keep all owners up-to-date, things seem to be changing daily. Currently, no short-term rentals (including hotels and RVs are allowed in Galveston under 30 days and the beaches remain closed. Today, the City announced these guidelines will stay in place until April 30. While we thought we would open the pool back up, we decided it will remain closed during this time. We have checked with other condo associations and their pools are closed as well.

We are all in this together. No one wants the restrictions. The beach is closed so not to spread the virus, and so is the pool. Wherever people gather gives an opportunity for the virus to spread. We feel it is in the best interest of our owners’ and staff’s health and safety, and look forward to the time we can all enjoy our pool and beach in the, hopefully, near future.
