New Business: As voted during the annual meeting held on Saturday, January 26, 2019, the quorum of homeowners agreed to accept the requested assessment for roof repair, garage repair and sign replacement.

The Board announced an increase of 10% in HOA monthly dues effective February 1, 2019.

The nightly HOA fee ( on site rental parking) will increase on February 1, 2019, to $11/night. This fee is used to offset the cost of our Courtesy Officers. Parking permits are issued at the time of check-in. If guests have more than one vehicle on site, additional parking permits are issued on a first come first served basis.

If your unit is rented, be prepared to receive a monthly parking bill.
Further discussion about parking regulations are still under discussion. Your questions, comments and concerns will be addressed by the board if you send an email to any/all board members.

The only exception to this rule is, as currently in force, for rentals classified as “long term rentals”. The City of Galveston has designated rental for 30 consecutive days or more as a defined long term rental. The parking fee rental charge for long term rentals will remain at the current $2/night.

Owner responsibility: Every owner should read or reacquaint themselves with the bylaws of our HOA. Bylaws are contained in the website. If you choose to rent your unit, please be sure that your renters are informed of pool, grounds and parking rules. If your unit is managed by a management company, be sure to inform that company of the upcoming change in parking fees. If you are renting your unit independently, please make sure you are aware of the City of Galveston ordinances about collection of HOT (Hotel Occupancy Tax). That data can be found on the City of Galveston website. Non-compliance with the HOT regulations carry severe fines. Please remember the responsibility for your unit is YOU. It is your investment.
